KOOS, KATHLEEN M., 60 OF TORRANCE, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 04, 2018 at her home. She was born October 14, 1957 in Blairsville, PA, the daughter of the late John Mrenko and Elizabeth (Dunmire) Mrenko. Kathy had worked for Learning Sciences International of Blairsville, PA and formerly worked for Buckler, McKenny & Nadzadi Accounting.

She enjoyed reading, music, playing her guitar, was an avid animal lover, she enjoyed Anime and she was also learning to speak Japanese. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Erik G. Koos of Torrance, PA; daughter, Seneca L. Koos of Torrance, PA and sister, Elizabeth Anderson, Akron, OH. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Mrenko and sisters, Carolyn Jackson and Mary Jane Taylor.

In keeping with Kathy’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Action for Animals Human Society, 386 Highway 217, Latrobe, PA 15650.
