Obituary for Kathy Barbara Perdue Bluefield, WV- Kathy Barbara Perdue, 64, of Bull Tail Hollow Road, Bluefield, WV, died Wednesday January 2, 2019 at her home. Born December 2, 1954 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Billy Harold Richardson and Pauline Geneva Neal. Mrs. Perdue was of the Baptist faith and retired as a Senior Clerk from Frontier Communications after 39 years of service.

She loved to make others happy and always took care of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Aubrey Alexander Perdue; and sister, Paula Burkhart. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael W. Perdue; daughter, Amber Marie Perdue and husband Jarret Umberger of Bluefield; siblings, Linda Baldwin of Bluefield, Jo Ann Neal of Bluefield, Judy Neal and husband Randy of Alpharetta, GA, Billy Richardson of Bluefield, and Tamera Roberts and husband Rick of Wilmington, NC; two grandchildren, Ryan Perdue, who was like a son and was the light of her life, and Thomas Umberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Dyer officiating.
