Obituary for Kay Duvall Frankfort – Ms. Kenneth Kay Spencer Duvall, age 64, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home Monday, July 9, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Napier officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Ms. Duvall was born in Beattyville, Kentucky on November 6, 1953, to the late Kenneth Ray and Juanita Moore Thurman.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and dedicated caretaker, who worked with Bluegrass Hospice Care for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin boys, William and Donnie Duvall. She is survived by her children, Amy Spencer, Laura Graham (Perry), Josh Duvall (Tiffany), and Hayley Mendey (Andrew); siblings, Charles Spencer (Easter), Leon “Junie” Thurman (Debbie), Tony Thurman, Linda Sanford, and Gwen McDonald (Larry); grandchildren, Elisha Douglas, Christina Douglas, Jacob Graham, Caleb Graham, Ava Graham, Brianna Duvall, and a grandson on the way; three great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Dennis, Maci Guy, and Emma Guy; and by her two beloved cats.
She was also blessed with several nieces and nephews and special friend Salen Wingate. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Duvall, Perry Graham, Jacob Graham, Caleb Graham, Andrew Mendey, and Scott Loman. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
