Kay’s Obituary Obituary Marshall Kay Lambson, 75 Marshall Kay Lambson, 75, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his home in Blackfoot. Kay was born June 16, 1943 in Pocatello, Idaho to Arthur Millard and Lillian Adele White Lambson. He grew up in Mackay, Idaho, then moved to Blackfoot, where he graduated from Blackfoot High School.

He attended a trade school in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he became a certified machinist. Kay married his high school sweetheart, Geri Parris, on August 13, 1961 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were sealed in the Rexburg LDS Temple on September 29, 2016.

Kay and Geri raised their family in the Riverside area. They enjoyed wintering in Arizona. He was a radiological control technician at the Idaho National Laboratory.

Kay had a lifelong habit of learning, always seeking to educate himself to ensure he was the best in his profession. He was certainly successful in this endeavor, because he was sought-after from other labs in the country, even after his retirement. Kay was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers, carving, playing the guitar and especially loved spending time with his family. Kay is survived by his wife, Geri Lambson of Blackfoot; his children, Victor Arthur (Rebeckah) Lambson of Blackfoot, Gina Kay (Dyal) Nelson of Firth, and Lance Lynn Lambson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lillian Lambson; siblings Les Lambson, Jean Todd, Ray Lambson, Gloria Lloyd, Bonnie Nobel, Dixie Brann; and great grandson, Dreyden Ashley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Blackfoot 7th Ward LDS Chapel. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Hawker Funeral Home and again for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
