Talon’s Obituary Obituary Talon Dwaine Ellis, 26 Talon Dwaine Ellis, 26, of Pingree, Idaho passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019. He was born September 8,1992 in Pocatello, Idaho the son of Laura Deonne Caldwell Monroe and Jason Ellis Talon had lived his entire life in the Blackfoot and Pingree area. He attended school in Blackfoot during his grade school years and then attended Snake River starting in 2001 and graduated from Snake River High School in 2011.

He was a wrestler and played football for Snake River. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed playing church basketball.

He was a cub scout and involved in 4-H for many years. Talon was a true cowboy. He loved working with his Grandpa, Larry Caldwell, and being around the cattle.

He loved to rope and all things cowboys do. He most recently worked for Mike and Merilee Caldwell. Talon was always willing to help anyone who needed his help.

He enjoyed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, roping, saddle bronc riding, card games, game night, campfires and loved being with his friends. He was the life of the party and will be greatly missed at the ranch rodeos. He is survived by his mother, Laura Monroe of Pingree; sisters, Brooklyn Ellis of Pingree and Jacey (Jake) Mickelsen of Chubbuck; nephew, Blake Cook of Pingree; grandmothers, Deonne Caldwell of Pingree and Roxie Monroe of Blackfoot.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Dave Monroe and grandfather, Larry Caldwell. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. , Blackfoot, Idaho 83221.

The family will meet with friends from 12:00 noon until time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Springfield Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be sent to the family at www.
