Obituary for Keith McFadzen Keith John McFadzen, 62, loving husband of Carole (Laliberte) McFadzen, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Born in Meriden on December 20, 1955, he was the son of the late Delmont and Irene McFadzen. He married Carole on September 25, 1993 and they would have celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary this year.
He had resided in Meriden his whole life and had graduated from the American School for the Deaf in 1975. Mr. McFadzen was employed by Marshalls Home Goods. He loved model trains, fishing and woodworking.
He was also an avid animal lover. He loved his wife very much. She gave him all of her attention.
He is survived by his two sisters, Mary and Carol; two brothers, Delmont and Howard and was predeceased by his brother, Peter. He had many nieces and nephews and in-laws that also loved him very much. He is also survived by his two beloved cats, Salem and Junior.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 5 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden, CT 06450. Burial will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 4 to 5 p.m. Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Avenue, Meriden, CT 06450.
