Obituary for Karl Roth Karl Allen Roth, 61, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at home after a lengthy illness. Born in Middletown on August 2, 1957, he was the son of the late George and Nancy (Thrall) Roth. He had resided in Middlefield and Meriden his entire life and had graduated from Vinal Technical High School in Middletown.

Mr. Roth was employed by Ever Energy for thirty-four years. He served with the U.S. Navy for four years. He was a past member of the Middlefield Fire Department.

Karl was a member of the Meriden Motor Boat Club. He is survived by two brothers, Brian Roth and his wife Korrine of Higganum and George Roth and his wife Patty of Middlefield; three nieces, Kelsey Luddington and her husband Jeffrey and Jen and Emma Roth; two nephews, Preston Roth and his wife Ryan and Kurtis Roth and his wife Caitlin and two great-nieces, Peyton and Reese. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 1 to 3 pm at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
