Lucille M. (Noll) Stoudt, 80, of Reading, passed away October 17, 2018 at Ephrata Manor. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Stoudt. She was born in Reading on July 1, 1938 to the late Allison and Erma (Harding) Noll.

Lucille was a 1956 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, Shillington. She was employed for 15 years within the Eastern Lancaster County School District in New Holland. Previously, she was employed with Gilbert Associates in Reading where she and Richard met.

Lucille was a member of St. John Center Lutheran Church in East Earl and was a member of the community at The Heritage of Green Hills for almost 10 years. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies throughout her life including gardening, cooking, reading, knitting, swimming and yoga. Lucille was an avid traveler, supported the local arts and held a great love for animals.

Surviving are a son and daughter; Lance Stoudt of Columbus, Ohio and Kirstin Myers, wife of Kenneth Myers, Jr, Ephrata; three grandchildren Jacob Gordon, Olivia Gordon and Zachary Myers; a sister Christine Sweitzer, wife of Paul Sweitzer of Womelsdorf. A Celebration of Lucille’s Life will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave. , Shillington, on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM, Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 9-10:00 AM. Interment of both Lucille and Richard will follow the service at Laureldale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Creative Living (www.
