Obituary for Robert “Bobby” Cossette Jr. Robert “Bobby” A. Cossette Jr., 61, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Midstate Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born in Meriden on September 1, 1957, he was the son of Josephine Zawacki and the late Robert Cossette Sr He had resided in Meriden and graduated from Platt High School, Class of 1975.

Bobby loved animals, especially his cat, Bowtie. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid fisherman, reader and painter and had been a Master Plumber and heating technician. He is survived by his two sisters, Karen Cossette-Ayaz and Janet Cossette, both of Meriden, and his uncle, Edmund Zawacki, of East Hartford.

He is also survived by several cousins. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. A private burial will be held at a later date.
