Doris Ellen (Lascomb) Hafer, 89, passed away peacefully Monday, November 12, 2018 at home in West Lawn. Born in Reading, PA July 6, 1929, Daughter of the late Allen and Minerva (Baer) Lascomb. During her lifetime, she was devoted to her Family and was known for her crafts of baking, quilting, crocheting and knitting.

Awarded “Cook of The Week” by the Reading Eagle in March 1967. She was predeceased by Sisters, Betty (Lascomb) Brightbill; Mary (Lascomb) Schappell and Grandson Adam J. Domsicz. Doris is survived by her Husband Raymond (John) Hafer, Jr.; Son, John R. Hafer of Reading; Daughter, Shelley M. Domsicz of Delray Beach FL; Brother, Raymond A. Lascomb of Reading; and extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 16 Telford Avenue, West Lawn, on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives at church from 10-10:45AM. The Interment will follow the funeral service at Pleasant View Cemetery.
