Arlene M. Gring, beloved Mom, 97, formerly of Wernersville, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2018 at Berks Heim, where she received excellent care. Born in Reading on December 28, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George L. and Mary J. (Boyer) Wolfskill. Arlene was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was a prayer warrior. She loved children and taught in good news clubs. She enjoyed reading, gardening walking, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends.

She took pride in finally getting her GED at the age of 68. She was predeceased by her husband: Henry K. Gring; brothers: Earl Lester, Fred, and Roy Wolfskill; sisters: Dorothy Price and Helen Rollman. Survivors include her children: Mary E. Smith of Wernersville, Ann L. Stout, wife of Sam of Victoria, TX, and Jennifer M. Baker, wife of Keith of Wernersville.

Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. , Sinking Spring, on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00PM.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 1-2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship of Reading and Berks County, 1307 Good St., Reading, PA 19602.
