Obituary for Kenny Solimando Kenny Solimando, 55, died on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Meriden Center after a long battle with cancer. Born in the Bronx on October 8, 1963, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Marieanne (Bettini) Solimando. He had lived most of his life in the New York and Danbury area and had graduated from Westlake High School in Thornwood, New York.

Mr. Solimando was employed by various construction companies, spending the later part of his life at the September 11 recovery site. He liked riding his Harley and driving his Corvette. He is survived by two sisters, Constance Cross and her husband Steven and Kris Santo and her husband Jeff of North Carolina; one brother, Mark Solimando and his wife Diane of New Milford, three nephews; Stephen Jr., John-Paul and Robert Michael Cross and one niece, Jennie-Marie Cross Funeral services will be private.
