Obituary for Kenneth Eugene “Big Head” Franklin Kenneth E. Franklin (Big Head) Kenneth Eugene Franklin, 64 of Battle Creek, MI died Thursday Morning April 5, 2018 at Laurels of Bedford following a gallant battle with cancer. He was born June 3, 1953 in South Bend, IN the son of Whitman K. Franklin Sr., and Mary Ann (Dixon) Franklin. He attended Battle Creek Public Schools.

Ken loved watching westerns and track and field. He also enjoyed playing cards. He was a line cook at Denny’s restaurant as well as Popeye’s Chicken.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Step Father, Eddie Hollis, Step Mother, Shirley Franklin, Brother, Robert M. Franklin, Sister, Felicia Ann Hollis. He is survived by Two Brothers, Whitman Moses (Karen) Franklin, Steven C. Franklin of Battle Creek; Sister, Pamela L.
