KENNETH’s Obituary Kenneth C. Gay (KC) of Moose Lake, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2019. He was born on January 11, 1936 in Sturgeon Lake, MN to Kenneth F. and Ruby (Cunningham) Gay. KC excelled in academics and athletics at Willow River and Moose Lake High Schools.

He attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a degree in Finance. While serving in the US Army in Arlington, VA, he met his future wife, Kathleen (Bunnie) Waugh. They married in 1958 in Chevy Chase, MD.

Shortly after, the couple returned to Minnesota where they lived in St. Paul while he was employed at the First Trust Company. They settled in Moose Lake where KC was the long-time president of the Sturgeon Lake State Bank. KC and Bunnie retired to Destin, FL until health concerns brought them back home to family.

KC is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Bunnie; their four children: Scott (Michelle), Michael (Monica), Jennifer (Guy), and James (Kristi); along with 8 grandchildren: Samuel, Nathan (Samantha), Amanda (Blake), Joseph, Kendra (Dustin), Laura, Casey, and Nathan. KC is also survived by two sisters who will miss him dearly, Kay (Richard) Buro and Sue (Jack) Noren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home in Moose Lake.
