Kenneth Louis Owens, age 61 of Hardinsburg, KY died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on October 26, 1956, the son of the late John and Margaret Brown Owens. Ken was a retired SGT with the Army Reserves and member of First Baptist Church.

He enjoyed fishing and trips to the riverboat casino. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers – William Henry and John Floyd Owens. Ken is survived by his son Jason Owens of Hardinsburg, KY daughter – Kayreana Welch of Louisville, KY 1 granddaughter – Kendra Owens 1 sister – Ann Young (Carl) of Trotwood, Oh 3 brothers – Thomas Owens (Hazel) of Irvington, KY Ray Owens (Greta) of Houston, TX Nelson Owens of Boston, MA Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11 AM with burial in the Hardinsburg Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM at the church.
