David Lee Severs, age 62 of Union Star, KY died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Brandenburg, KY on January 16, 1956, the son of the late George Hurley and Thelma Lorene Nelson Severs. David was a Captain’s Mate, Welder, Machinist and Tile setter.

He is survived by 3 children: Shawn Severs, Tara Darnell and Jonathan Severs 1 grandchild 6 brothers: George Jr., Paul, Bill, Larry, Dale and Kevin Severs 4 sisters: Janice Curry, Judy Schnitterbaum, Robin Frank and Becky Shelman Graveside services will be held at Union Star Cemetery on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10 AM central time under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Union Star Cemetery.
