Obituary of Kevin Conklin Mr. Kevin James Conklin a life time resident of Port Jervis died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side. He was 60. He was born July 15, 1958 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late Sanford Conklin and Mary Decker Conklin.

Kevin married Darlene “DeDe” Valentia 26 years ago on April 25, 1992 in Port Jervis, NY. Surviving are: His loving wife Darlene “DeDe” Conklin at home. His mother: Mary Decker Conklin Huguenot, NY 5 Children: Amanda La France and her husband Paul of Sparrowbush, NY Loretta Conklin and her companion Abner Padin Sr. of Sparrowbush, NY John Conklin of Port Jervis Amy Conklin of Port Jervis William Conklin and his wife Kerri Sacco-Conklin of Myrtle Beach, SC 7 Siblings: Sanford Wayne Conklin of Port Jervis Vivian VanOrden and her husband Robert of Port Jervis Tina Cosh and her husband Lester of Cuddebackville, NY Blanche Belcher of Huguenot, NY Richard Conklin and his wife Betty of Port Jervis Lisa Outer and her husband Donald of Milford, PA Cathy Clifford and her companion James Padgett of Huguenot, NY 12 Grandchildren: Devyn, Jett, Dallas, Liam, Lyla, Brandon, Emma, Noah, Jermaine, Brianna, Abner Jr., & Korbyn.

He was predeceased by his brother, Wendell Conklin in 1959; his father Sanford Conklin and his Brother-in-law, Richard Belcher. Visitation is Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on followed by a funeral services at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Zorn officiating.

Burial will be at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
