Obituary for Kun A. Welly Sr. Kun A. Welly Sr., of Clinton Twp. , passed away peacefully on November 1, 2018. He was 51 years old.

Kun was born on July 17, 1967 in Lelu Kosra, Federated States of Micronesia to Auro and Alwina Welly. While growing up, he enjoyed swimming with his siblings, feeding their pigs, gathering food from the mountains and playing baseball. Kun married the love of his life, Jane, on February 3, 1999 in Guam.

Together, they moved to the United States in 2000 to raise their family. Kun worked for many years as an home caregiver, sharing his compassion and love for others who needed his care. Outside of his work, he enjoyed watching sports and especially loved cheering on his children during their games.

He was a true family man who deeply loved those around him. Kun is survived by his loving wife Jane; beloved children Vanessa, Alwina, and Kun Jr.; cherished siblings Arson (Suenia) Johnnyboy, Lipan (Ann) Hau, Kency (Marcia) Jesse, Dorothy (Rhine) William, Kenye (Grant) Ismael, Emmy (Abernethy) Alokoc, Mellie (Paul) Tilfas, Atchuo (Larna) Erau, Fred (Betty) Robert, Delson Welly, Gamaliel Welly, and Bobchamber Welly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9am until time of funeral service at 11am at Bethany Baptist Church, 19700 15 Mile Rd, Clinton Twp, Michigan 48035 with Rev. Mark Reynolds officiating.
