Obituary for Edward J. Bieszke Jr. Edward Joseph Bieszke Jr., a resident of Fraser, was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, October 11, 2018 surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 90 years. Edward was born in Detroit on July 31, 1928 a son of the late Edward and Lillian (Rospierski) Bieszke. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Geraldine “Gerry” Poblock on October 27, 1951 in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church in Detroit.

The couple were long time residents of St. Clair Shores before moving to Fraser for the past 18 years. Edward served his country honorably in the U.S.Air Force during the Korean War. .

Edward was an outstanding funeral director who owned and operated a funeral home in Madison Heights until 1971. He worked for Chrysler, owned a Bar Supply Co. and a Subway in Birmingham before finally working for the D.S.Temrowski Funeral Home until retirement. Edward loved golfing, hunting, and bowling in his younger years.

He was a member of the Bishop Murphy K of C. He was a loving and caring man who loved his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine; his loving children, J.B. (Carolina), Nan (Michael) Witzgall , Beth Mary, Neal (Kellie), Amy (Mark) Schafranek, Edward J. III, Mary Louise Michalzuk and Jerry; his loving grandchildren, Mateo, Kenneth, Neal, Katie, Ryan, Geri, Drake, Emma, and Keely. He is also survived by his sisters Geraldine and Susan.

He was preceded in death by sister, Rita. A memorial gathering will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd. , Fraser Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 3pm till 8pm with a 7pm Scripture Service.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Catholic Church Roseville on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 10am with a memorial gathering beginning at 9:30am.
