Obituary for Walter Lenkevich Walter Lenkevich, a long time resident of Roseville, was received into the loving arms of Jesus Tuesday, December 5, 2018 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. He was 94 years of age. Walter was born in Charleston, West Virginia, a son of the late George and Mary (Myhalski) Lenkevich.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Josephine Spisz on February 4, 1956. The couple first made their home in Detroit, moving to Roseville for many years.

He was a long time member of the Roseville VFW. Walter had worked for the Malloy Manufacturing Company of Fraser as a foreman for over 25 years, retiring at the age of 62. He was an avid golfer enjoying the sport into the age of 90.

Walter was preceded in death by his beloved wife in August of 2000. He was a very hard worker providing for his family, was a very selfless person who always put others first. Walter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Walter is survived by his loving step children, Eugene “Sonny” (Lois) Spisz and Paulette (Dale) Wieczorek and loving children, Denise (Charles) McCrossen; His brothers and sisters, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren of which he dearly loved. Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd. , Fraser, on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 2pm till 8pm and Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Brookside Fellowship Church from 10am till time of funeral service at 11am.
