Obituary for Marlene Rose Ross (DeBash) Marlene Rose Ross (nee DeBash), a longtime resident of Fraser, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on December 7, 2018. She was 79 years old. Marlene was born on July 21, 1939 in Detroit to Joseph and Rose (nee Swiatlowski) DeBash.

She met and married the love of her life, Michael F. Ross, on June 6, 1959, in East Detroit. The couple made their first home in Detroit before settling to Fraser in 1983. Marlene was a proud mother who took pride in caring for her home and family.

Marlene enjoyed creating many beautiful crafts with her talents throughout the years and especially enjoyed going for rides with her husband. Above all, Marlene cherished her entire family and always enjoyed time spent with everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marlene was the loving wife of Michael; cherished mother of Linda Davis, Larry (Jennifer) Roberts, Deborah (Dwayne) Henderson, Michelle (John) Lobbia, Melissa (Greg) Shotkoski, and Mandie Ross; beloved grandmother of eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister of Joseph (Carol) DeBash. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 2-8pm with a 7pm Rosary at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Michigan 48026.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10am at Assumption Grotto Catholic Church in Detroit with instate beginning at 9:30am. Interment in Assumption Grotto Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Fraser Lions Club in her memory appreciated.
