L. Jean “Jeanie” Moore, 87, of Anderson, passed away January 28, 2019 at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on February 18, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jeanie was a homemaker and had retired from Reginald Pontiac.

She was an avid quilter, longtime member of Redbud Quilting Club, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, ABWA, and loved genealogy. Jeanie is survived by her children, JoEllen “Jody” Moore, Jeffrey (Jill) Moore, John D. Moore; grandchildren, Jennifer (Keith) Givens, Jessica Moore; great-grandchildren, Madison Givens, Corben Givens; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert “Jack” Moore, sister, Shirley Ashby, infant brother, Sherman Siemer Jr., parents, Sherman and Leila Eloise Siemer.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 4, 2019, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN. Services will be Monday, February 4, 2019, 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Father Harold Smith officiating. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
