LaJean “Jeannie” Brown, 76, of Hastings, passed away on February 26, 2019 at the Spectrum Health Pennock Campus Hastings, MI. She was born on March 16, 1942 to Carl and Ethelyn (Longwell) Brown-Graul in Lansing, MI. Jeannie worked as an LPN for Dr. Atkinson in Hastings for 29 years, retiring as a RN at Pennock Hospital in 2011.

Jeannie was a very special person who knew what you needed before you did. She was an avid researcher into family genealogy and enjoyed photography. Jeannie was a very giving person supporting many charities including ASPCA and Omaha Home for Boys.

Jeannie is survived by: daughter Sally Miller; brother, David Brown; grandchildren; Jordan (Bria) Miller, Ashley (Matthew) Champion and great-grandchild Claire Marie Miller. She was preceded in death by father, Carl Brown, mother, Ethelyn Madge Brown-Graul, brother Gary Brown. According to her wishes cremation will take place with burial at the Lakeside Cemetery-Lake Odessa.
