Lana Jeanne Gross, age 60, passed away suddenly on June 3, 2018. Although Lana had been battling health issues for many years, the Lord saw fit to call her home suddenly. It was unexpected to those she left here.

Lana was born on April 22, 1958, in the Territory of Alaska to Gene and Lois Arnold. She attended high school in Anchorage and completed an associate’s degree in accounting. Lana worked for many years for the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Human Services, helping many people to help themselves, passing on her own knowledge of having to do the same.

Lana also served in the Alaska Defense Force. Lana is survived by her four sons, Stephen Pierce (wife Carrie), Kenny Adams (wife Tiera), Jesse Gross and James Gross; along with her mother, Lois (Stevee) Arnold; and sisters, Kim Coy (husband Mike) and Kelly Arnold Stevens. Lana also was grandma to Nesa, Devyn, Ethan and Emma; and great-grandma to Nevaeh, Jaxson and Eiley.

She also had nieces and nephews who will miss her. Also special to Lana was her good friend Alice Bohannon, whom she cherished as a sister. Family, friends and others are invited to Crossroads Assembly of God, 3824 DeBarr Road in Anchorage, to a memorial service on June 30, 2018, at 4 p.m. to share, grieve or just chat.
