Latasha’s Obituary Latasha Jean Lowe, 30, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, Texas. Latasha was born July 14, 1988 in Jasper, Texas to George Alvarado and Melissa Lowe. She was a graduate of Hemphill High School.

She is survived by her mother, Melissa Gomez and husband, Jesse, of Hemphill, Texas; her guardian, Samantha Rushing of Center, Texas; brothers, Emory Esponge and wife, Kitty, of Hemphill, Oren Moss of Hemphill, and Austin Moss of Alaska; aunt, Tracia Lucius and husband, Daniel, of Hemphill; uncle, Denton Lowe of Hemphill; cousins, Matthew Lowe of Hemphill and Stacie Koons and husband, Kyle, Sr., of Bossier City, Louisiana; niece, Emily Esponge of Hemphill and nephews; Remey Lee Moss of Alaska and Emory Esponge, Jr. of Hemphill. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hardy and Frances Lowe and her great uncle, Hardy Lowe, Jr. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 and again at 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow services at Smith-Mason Cemetery in Scrappin’ Valley Community. Online condolences can be made at starrfuneralhome.com.
