Charles’ Obituary Charles Norman Greenwood, 81, of Milam, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Willis Knighton-Pierremont Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. Chuck was born on February 22, 1937 in West Frankfort, Illinois to parents Charles Elworth Greenwood and Clydie Elizabeth Price Greenwood. He served in the United States Army and later he earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in psychology and the other in theater.

He also earned a master’s degree. He worked in the education field as a school teacher in Illinois, a position he held until he retired. After retirement, he moved to Milam, Texas where he lived for many years.

He is survived by his daughters, Liz Allen and husband, Jimmy, of Mulkeytown, Illinois and Dr. Phyllis Deal of North Carolina, nephew, Todd Boudreau and wife, Linda, of Mahomet, Illinois and great-nephews, Greg Boudreau and Kevin Boudreau. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helena Boudreau and her husband, Bud. Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Texas.
