Rebecca’s Obituary Rebecca Sue Boudreaux, 75, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her residence. Rebecca was born November 12, 1943 in Mattoon, Illinois to Lucas John Sims and Doris Louise Smith Sims. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She and her husband, Sabra Boudreaux, Sr., had resided in Erath, Louisiana before moving to Hemphill in 2007. She attended church at Free Methodist of Hemphill. Rebecca is survived by her sons, Richard Weathersby and wife, Brenda, of Hemphill, Texas, Fred Boudreaux of Hemphill, and Sabra Boudreaux, Jr. and wife, Mindy, of Houma, Louisiana; daughter, Melissa Vines and husband, Tim, of Lumberton, Texas; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sabra Boudreaux, Sr and daughter, Tanaya Stephens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.

Floyd Wright officiating. Burial will follow services in Springhill Cemetery, Hwy. 83W, Hemphill, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Caleb Stephens, Timothy Stephens, Josh Stephens, Lane Fontenot, Richard Weathersby, Kendrick Boudreaux, Joby Boudreaux, and Jacob Boudreaux. Online condolences can be made at starrfuneralhome.com.
