Obituary of Laura Jane Beauchamp Laura Jane Beauchamp, 95, of Bay City, our loving, caring, and most wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on the evening of Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Heartland – Hampton. Laura was born in Detroit on December 31, 1922, the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Burrows) Miller. Through her brother, Charles, she met Fred Beauchamp.

They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on December 30, 1943. Laura was a parishioner of All Saints Parish (St. James Church) and enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking, and in her younger years, camping in the Upper Peninsula. Laura leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Dianna Beauchamp of Bay City, Susan (Paul) Christe of Bay City, and Robert (Cindy) Beauchamp of Bay City; sisters, Helen Brothers of Traverse City, Barbara VanLaan of Houston, TX, Mildred Gingerich of Bay City, and Nancy (Ken) Thome of St. Charles, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren with several on the way and one great-great grandchild on the way, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Laura was welcomed home to heaven by her husband, Fred in 2003; beloved granddaughter, Jeannie Marie Christe at the age of 10; sister, Betty Green, and brothers, Charles and Richard Miller. Laura’s family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Vigil for Laura at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd. , Hampton Twp.

On Monday, October 15, 2018, Laura will be taken to All Saints Parish (St. James Church), 710 Columbus Ave. , Bay City, where visiting will continue from 10:00 AM until Laura’s 11:00 AM Funeral Liturgy. Fr.

Jose Maria Cabrera will officiate with the Rite of Committal to be held privately in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.
