Laurie’s Obituary Laurie Ann Young, 57, of Belleville, IL, passed away Sun. Feb. 24, 2019 at her home.

She was born Aug. 16, 1961 in Granite City, IL to Rosalie (Boone) Berning of Caseyville, IL and the late Everett Kuehnel. Laurie attended Harvest Community Church and loved her cats.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her step-father: Douglas Henry Berning Sr. of Caseyville; ; 2 brothers: Steven Kuehnel of Caseyville and Joe Kuehnel of East Alton; 2 step-brothers: Douglas Henry (Maureen) Berning Jr. of St. Charles, MO and Bruce (Rhonda) Berning of Breese, IL; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Eugene Henry Kuehnel and Daniel Kuehnel. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thurs.

Feb. 28, 2019 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory where services will be at 10:00 a.m. Fri. Mar.

1, 2019 with Pastor Roy Boyer officiating. Burial will at St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
