Lenore’s Obituary Lifelong resident of Chelsea, Lenore passed away on Friday February 15th after a long illness while in the peaceful surroundings of her home with her loving family at her side. She was 73 years of age. Born and raised in Chelsea she was the devoted daughter of the late Stanley and Marie (DeLorey) Terchiak.

Lenore attended local schools and was a graduate of Chelsea High School. Lenore worked outside of her home as a waitress for over 20 years at Jeveli’s Restaurant in East Boston. She retired eight years ago.

Lenore will be forever remembered for her loving generous heart, helping friends and family, most especially to her daughter and family. She also enjoyed her time spent with friends at the Chelsea Senior Center. In addition to her parents Lenore was also predeceased by siblings; Donna Ritch, Maureen Smith, Stanley and Paul Terchiak.

She was the devoted mother of Edward J. Terchiak and his wife Eileen, and Lisa Terchiak all of Chelsea and she was the special caring and loving aunt of Michael Ritch of Malden. Cherished grandmother of Edward Terchiak, Jr. Scott Terchiak, Genesis Lee Terchiak and Alexander Rojas. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and extended family members.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to visiting hours at the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, CHELSEA on Wednesday February 20, from 4 – 8 P.M. A service prayers and remembrance will be held in the funeral home during the visitation. Funeral home fully handicap accessible, ample parking opposite funeral home.
