Leo Hoffer Jr. March 13, 1928 – January 22, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Leo Hoffer Jr., 90, of Hallettsville, passed away Jan. 22, 2019. He was born on March 13, 1928 to Leo & Minnie Huehlefeld Hoffer Sr. in Sweet Home.

He married Evelyn Schneider on Feb. 21, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Hallettsville. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Leo is survived by: his wife Evelyn; son Lee Hoffer of Hallettsville; 3 daughters, Beverly Wagner & husband Daniel, Sherry Hale, and Carol Woytek, all of Hallettsville; sister Catherine Wenzel of Rosenberg; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Leo was preceded in death by: his parents; 2 brothers, Nicholas and Freddie Sr. Hoffer; and 2 sisters, Lucy Kahanek and Elizabeth Hoffer Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Visitation: starting at 4 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home; with the Rosary starting at 7 pm. Pallbearers: Brandon Woytek, Dusty Woytek, Heath Hale, Joel Wagner, James DeBord, and Logan Davis. Officiant: Msgr.

John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church/School, Hospice of South Texas or donor’s choice. Entombment: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
