OBITUARY Leonard William Zirnheld Sr. April 4, 1929 – October 20, 2018 Leonard William Zirnheld Sr., 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away, Saturday, October 20, 2018. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late, William and Gertrude Zirnheld Sr. Leonard was a member of Okolona Baptist church and was retired from International Harvester. His grandson Leonard Zirnheld precede Leonard in death.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 70 years, Gwen Zirnheld, sons, Gerald Zirnheld(Bessie), Leonard Zirnheld Jr.(Gaynell), six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, great granddaughter, Lucie on the way and brother, Clarence Zirnheld(Evelyn). A funeral service to celebrate the life of Leonard will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219 with interment to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-7pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Okolona Baptist Church or St. Jude children’s hospital.
