OBITUARY Betty Jane Cowherd December 7, 1944 – October 18, 2018 Betty Jane Cowherd, 74, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Christine Caulk; her son, Kevin Cowherd; sisters, Brenda Morgan and Nancy Parsons; and close friend, Patricia Rowland. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 56 years, Raymond Cowherd; daughter, Krista Wheatley; daughter-in-law, Barbara Cowherd; grandchildren, Calvin, Aidan and Zoe; many other loving family members; long time friend, Tammy Reddington; and family friends, Kimberly and Anita. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 2:00pm in Evergreen Dignity Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will be Monday from 10am until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Betty’s name can be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
