Libretta I. Brittain, 92, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on August 9, 2016. She was born on October 20, 1923 in Garfield Heights, OH to Fred and Minnie McIntyre. She moved to Florida in 1975 and was a member of the Venice Bible Church.

She worked as a bookkeeper at Starvin Marvin in Venice as well as a manager at the Dollar General in North Port. Libretta was a very generous and caring person and loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all.

She is survived by her children, Patrick J. Brittain, Susan E. Carpenter and Daniel R. Brittain; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Cleteus E. Brittain; son, Cleteus E. Brittain Jr. and daughter, Margaret Ann Odom. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August, 13, 2016 at 11AM at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Rd.
