Obituary for Linda Sue Lewis Linda Sue Lewis, age 61, of Morton’s Gap, KY passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Madisonville, KY on October 9, 2018. She was born February 28, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Rogetta Sharber. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Lewis; a sister, Wanda Sue Holt; and one grandchild.

Most of all, she loved her grandchildren, Church Family, and being an obedient server of the Lord. Linda was a member of Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C. Int. , where she served on many boards.

Linda was retired from Kroger after many years of service. She worked many years in the Deli and Meat Department. Linda enjoyed fishing, traveling, making friends, and helping anyone.

Those that encountered her love, loved her, as no one was ever a stranger to her. She was always the comedian, the friend, the mother hen. Linda is survived by her beloved daughter and son, Laquita and Wesley Swaney; two dearly loved grandchildren, Drevan and Jailahni Swaney; one sister, Carol Mayes (William) of Georgetown KY; two loving caregivers, Debra Martin and Reba Goodrich; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and work family.

Services will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00pm a Disciples of Christ Christian Worship Center, 552 E. Center Street, Madisonville KY with same day visitation from 12:30pm until service time. Burial at Flat Creek Cemetery in Morton’s Gap, Kentucky. Mason & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
