Linda L. Chapman, 74 of Granite City, Illinois passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. Linda was born on August 22, 1943 in Leavenworth, Kansas; the daughter of the late Mike and Juanita (Hart) Vesci. Linda was a supervisor in customer service at CPI Corporation in St. Louis.

In her free time Linda enjoyed her days of making ceramics and watching sports, especially the St. Louis Blues. Her greatest joy was her family. Linda will be remembered for the love of her family and all the special times they shared together.

Linda is survived by and will be missed by her husband; Ralph Chapman, whom she married on March 17, 1962; her sons, Randy (Heather) Chapman of Glen Carbon, Illinois, Rob (Susan) Chapman of Godfrey, Illinois, Michael Chapman (Bridgit Johnson) of Granite City, Illinois; grandchildren, Lindsey (Andrew) Langendorf of Edwardsville, Illinois, Hannah Chapman of Glen Carbon, Illinois, Maxwell Chapman of Glen Carbon, Illinois, Jillian Chapman of Troy, Illinois. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
