Lois Reynolds Dyer Butler, MO Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Reynolds Dyer, age 82, will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Rev. Phillip Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in State Line Cemetery, Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Dyer was born on September 20, 1936 to John Foney and Georgia Bertie Crowder Reynolds in Taylor, AR and passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Butler, MO. She was a native of Walkers Creek and a lifelong resident of this area.

She was a graduate of Bradley High School and South Arkansas University, was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was retired from the Caddo Parish Schools after 30 years of service. Mrs. Dyer was affectionately called “Gran” by her grandkids, who she adored. She loved to read, to travel, research her family’s genealogy and go on adventures.

She was a wonderful Christian example to all those around her. She also worked as an aid at Browning Elementary for four years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Becky Robison and husband, Ivan of Butler, MO; Kelli McLelland and husband, Brandon of Magnolia, AR; son, Leon Dyer, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; twelve grandchildren, Lauren Caldwell; Katelyn Toms; Wesley Dyer, Erin Ezernack, Hailey Dyer, Danielle Dubois, Seth Robison, Adam Robison, Grace McLelland, Mattison McLelland, Hannah Barnett and Daniel Dyer; thirteen great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Gleason and husband, Billy of Springhill, Evelyn Hammontree of Springhill, and JoAnn Grayson of Shreveport, and a son-in-law, Ricky Moore of Springhill, LA. Mrs. Dyer was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon Dyer, daughters, Shirley Luvell and Sherri Elaine Moore, brothers, John Charles Reynolds and Jackie Ray Reynolds, and a daughter-in-law, Karen Dyer. Pallbearers will be Harold Payne, Wesley Dyer, Scott Grayson, Brent Grayson, Billy Gleason and Steve Reynolds.
