Obituary for Lorenzo Barrett Brown Sr. Lorenzo Barrett Brown, Sr. of Saline, Michigan, passed away on December 5, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was 85 years old. Lorenzo was born in Mobile, Alabama on August 20, 1933.

He married Deloisteen Person on August 20, 1974. Mr. Brown was an avid reader, community activist, and sportsman. He loved his church and family.

He served in the U.S. Navy and came home from Japan to complete his degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan. He was employed for over 30 years with the State of Michigan, first as a Disability Examiner and later as a Counselor in the Department of Corrections, from which he retired. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
