Obituary for Louis E. St.Cyr Louis E. St.Cyr, 79, a lifelong Wingdale resident, died on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation in New Milford, CT. Mr. St.Cyr was a correction officer at Green Haven Correctional Facility in Stormville, NY for 33 years retiring in 1991. Born on January 7, 1939 in Sharon, CT, he was the son of the late Hubert and Ruth (Colman) St.Cyr.

He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961. On September 17, 1960 in Daytona Beach, FL, he married Willa Morris who survives at home. Mr. St.Cyr was a member of V.F.W. Post #5444 in Dover Plains, NY and a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Pawling, NY.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Glenn St.Cyr of Wingdale, NY and a daughter, Robin Rabideau of Poughkeepsie, NY; a sister, Janet Brown of St. Cloud, FL and two grandchildren, Kristin Schea and her husband, Joshua, of Rockville, MD and Erica Rabideau of Brooklyn, NY. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
