Michalowicz, 100, of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Medford Leas. Born in Washington, DC, Louise resided there most of her life. At age 60, Louise went on to become an assistant for well-known White House correspondent Sarah McClendon.

Among other things she did for Sarah, she covered press conferences, the annual Correspondents’ Dinner and the White House Christmas Party. In 1999 she moved to Southampton, and then in 2013 she moved to Medford Leas. She volunteered at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt.

Holly, and did much volunteer work for various charitable organizations. Wife of the late Joseph C. Michalowicz; she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Georgia Michalowicz, John and Judy Michalowicz, and Jim and Marijane Michalowicz; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jeanne Marie and Jim Dabney, and Joan Louise Michalowicz; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 10-11AM, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd.

, Marlton, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM, at the church. Interment will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, in St. Mary ‘s Cemetery, Washington, DC.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Louise’s memory to Medford Leas Residents Assistance Fund, c/o Medford Leas, Medford, NJ 08055; or to the Sisters of the Holy Cross, 100 Lourdes Hall-Saint Mary’s, Notre Dame, IN 46556-5014. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
