Louise Marie Bond, 89, of McHenry, MD, died Friday, November 23, 2018, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD. Born August 10, 1929, in McHenry, she was the daughter of the late Earle T. and Edna Adele (Ault) Glotfelty. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Jean Compton.

Mrs. Bond was a sales clerk and a member of the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren and Ladies Aid. She is survived by her husband, Richard DeWitt Bond; one son, Richard Larry Bond and wife, Vickie, Accident, MD; one daughter, Jenny (Bond) Lyons and husband, Richard, Harrisonburg, VA; one brother, Melvin Ross Glotfelty and wife, Linda, Swanton, MD; one sister Catherine Eileen Wahl, Accident; three grandchildren, Amy Lynn (James Carlin) Lyons, Joshua Owen (Holly) Lyons and their children, Sydney and Owen; and Betsy Hart (Jay) Thorpe, and their children, Riley and Maggie. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Hwy.

, Accident (McHenry), on Sunday, November 25, 2018, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ross Glotfelty officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
