Marlene Kay Boomer, 78, of Friendsville, MD, died Monday, November 5, 2018, at WV University Hospitals, Morgantown, WV. Born September 16, 1940, in Friendsville, she was the daughter of the late Glenn & Cleda (Coddington) Sines. Mrs. Boomer was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Allen Boomer, Sr., June 2, 2001; one sister, Loretta Harding; three brothers, Robert Sines, Merle Sines & Marvin Sines.

Mrs. Boomer was a cashier and a member of the Friendsville Fireman’s Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Brian Allen Boomer, Jr. & Cameron Ward Boomer, both of Friendsville; one daughter, Shannon Kathleen Boomer, Loveland, OH; three grandchildren, Shawn Doebereiner, Joshua Boomer, Jeramie Boomer; two great-grandchildren, Chelsea Doebereiner & Gauge Main. At her request, Mrs. Boomer will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
