Kenneth Henry Robertson, 93, of Salisbury, PA, died Friday, December 14, 2018, at Somerset Hospital, Somerset, PA. Born November 26, 1925, in Jerome, PA, he was the son of the late John Henry and Margaret Louise (Kendall) Robertson. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Robertson; two sisters, Regina Robertson and Donna Lou Deaner.

Mr. Robertson was a truck driver for PennDot for 18 years and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He also worked at the Salisbury Undergarment Factory for 17 years and McKerahan Upholstery for 2 ½ years. Ken was an ambulance driver for Salisbury Ambulance for 10 years and was a lifetime member of the Salisbury Fire Dept.

He was a member of the Earl H. Opel Post 459, American Legion, Salisbury and the Walker-Harris Post 8826, V.F.W., Salisbury. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Freda Mae (Broadwater) Robertson; one daughter, Cathy (Brett) Winkelman, Syracuse, UT; two sisters, Janis Jackson, Salisbury; Lois Ringler, Bridgewater, NJ; three grandchildren, Richard (Amber) Galley, Brian (Wendy) Galley and Brett Winkelman, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Dakota Galley, Nicholas Galley, Whitney Galley and Earl Wallace. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy.

, Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed DeVore officiating. Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Salisbury Veterans Memorial.
