Patty Elaine Falbe, 40, of Grantsville, MD, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at WMHS Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD. Born December 7, 1977, in Fairfax, VA, she was the daughter of the late Marvin H. and Furn Marie (Bittinger) Taylor. She was also preceded in death by one son, Marvin T. Taylor.

Patty was an artist and retired military, having served in the U.S. Marines. She graduated from the Art Institute in Arizona and she loved reading books and liked Native American art and heritage. She is survived by her companion, Duane Hare, Grantsville; one son, Lewis Falbe, Richmond, VA; two sisters, Sandra Durst, Grantsville; Crystal Ittner, Spotsylvania, VA; step-father, Vernon Platter, Grantsville and one grandchild.

Patty was cremated and services will be held at a later date. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, is in charge of cremation arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
