Harold Dorn “Don” “Cockey” Cole, 73, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at his home. Born July 22, 1945, in Lead Mine, WV, he was the son of the late Joseph B. and Lena M. (Martin) Cole. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Cole; one sister, Margaret Aguilar; three half-brothers, Jack Cole, George Cole and Richard Dumire; three half-sisters, Nettie Bonner, Abby Harsh and Thelma Rhinehart.

Harold was an electrician for CSX railroad. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW, Post 10077, Deer Park, MD; American Legion Proctor Kildow Post 71, Oakland. Harold worked for the Chevrolet factory in Baltimore, MD and Penn Line services in PA.

He is survived by a brother, Norman Cole, IL; one sister, Dorothy Armstrong, Oakland, and numerous nieces and nephews. At Harold’s request, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
