Louise Mildred Boas, age 74, of Hillsboro IL passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Heritage Health, Springfield IL. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro IL with Father Daniel Willenborg, Pastor of St. Agnes Catholic Church, serving as Celebrant. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 9 – 11 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Coffeen, IL. Louise was born on November 29, 1943 in East Fork Township, Montgomery Co. IL to the late Vernon Joseph and Catherine (Huber) Boas. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School.

She was a former member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Coffeen and is now a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro. Surviving are brothers and sisters, Jean (Kenneth) Stahlschmidt, New Douglas, IL; Marjorie Casey, Davis Junction, IL; Martha Ellis, Springfield, IL; Virginia (Kenny) Polo, Granite City, IL; Loretta (Dan) Campbell, Auburn, IL; Joe Boas, Irving, IL & Anthony (Ginger) Boas, Hillsboro, IL; nieces and nephews, Annette Hartlieb, Beth Potthast, Monica Shoemaker, Christine Madonia, Paul Rayhill, Pamela Ward, Katie Singer, Joe Campbell, Kevin Campbell, Jodi Caylor, Ashley Campbell, Jennifer Ippolito, Jessica Johnson, Jamie Cearlock, Jackelyn Slaymaker, Dustin Boas, Rani Harms, Tom Boas, Scott Boas, Stephane Boas; thirty-three great nieces & nephews. Preceding were brothers, Bob & Fred Boas; sister, Bernadine Johnson; Nephew, Derek Boas.
