Bessie “Bernice” Garbe Leisey, 91, of Mountain Home, AR, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 in Mountain Home, AR. No visitation will be held. A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Olive Hill Cemetery in Coffeen, IL.

Rev. Ralph Ward of Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Cremation rites were accorded.

Mrs. Garbe Leisey was born on May 19, 1927 in Coffeen, IL to the late Arthur and Marie Robson. She worked as an office manager for Sears Headquarters. She lived in Coffeen, IL; St. Louis, MO; Oak Park, IL; River Grove, IL; and Mountain Home, AR during her lifetime.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Arts and Crafts Association of Mountain Home, AR. She married William Garbe on April 8, 1972 in Franklin Park, IL and he preceded her in death. She married Harry Leisey on May 17, 2003 in Mountain Home, AR and he preceded her in death.
