Ollie Witt, 90, of Butler, IL passed away Sunday, September 09, 2018, at 4:13 a.m., at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab in Taylor Springs, IL. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL. Family and friends may meet at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL, at 9:30 a.m., to process to the cemetery.

Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officate. Mrs. Witt was born July 29, 1928, in Evarts, KY, to the late Alexander & Mary (Bailey) Creech.

She married Asa Frank Witt. on July 30, 1946. in Harlan, KY.

He preceded in death on January 25, 1999. She had lived in Kentucky and Butler, IL. Mrs Witt was a homemaker, she loved to garden and had a green thumb.

She also loved to watch birds, especially humming birds. Mrs. Witt is survived by two sons, Delmer (wife Lisa) Witt of Taylor Springs, IL & Elmer (wife Linda) Witt of Taylor Springs, IL; two daughters, Sharon Selsek of Bayard, WV & Karen (husband Dwight) Pearson of Mt. Carmel, IL; one daughter-in-law, Linda Witt of Eldorado, IL; nine grandchildren, Nathaniel Witt, Benjamin (wife Robin) Witt, Jonathan (wife Kelsey) Witt, Byron Witt, Graham (wife Nicole) Witt, Amanda (husband Robert) Stubblefield, Jeremy (wife Danielle) Witt, Barry (wife Kim) Pearson and Franklin Pearson and twenty-two great grandchildren.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death one son, Dennis Witt; one son-in-law, John Selsek; three grandchildren, Tammy Pearson, Mary Pearson & Bruce Pearson and two brothers, Ted Creech & Delmer Creech. Memorials are suggested to the Donor’s choice.
