Obituary for Lucille “pete” Yestingsmeier Fowler Lucille “pete” Yestingsmeier Fowler, 99 of Evansville passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018, at West River Nursing Home. She was born May 2, 1919 in Evansville to the late George and Tillie (Grass) Elmendorf. Pete was formerly a board member of retired Indiana Public Retirees and the board of Vanderburgh County Libraries, currently a member of Stadverdant Germania Mannerchor Auxiliary, Riverbend Auxiliary, and VFW Auxiliary.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ and the United Church Women. Pete was also a member of Vanderburgh County Republican Women and several groups of Clabber players. Pete is survived by a daughter, Phyllis (Bob) Driggs of Liberty, IN; son, Scott (Mary Ann) Yestingsmeier of Evansville, IN; 7 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Pete was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Walter Yestingsmeier, and Bob Fowler; sons, Walter, Jr., Gary and Kurt Yestingsmeier; daughter, Jan Clark. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at St. Paul`s United Church of Christ, 8701 Big Cynthiana Rd, Evansville, IN 47720. Funeral service will at 3:00 pm at the church with Reverend Terry Farmer officiating.
