Obituary for Lucinda Mary Oliveira Lucinda Mary Oliveira, 92, of Bonita Springs, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, she had been a Bonita Springs resident since 2013. She was born February 20, 1926 in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of Augusto and Maria (née Santos) Oliveira.

Mrs. Oliveira is survived by her loving sons, David A. (Diane) Oliveira of Mooresville, NC and Robert A. (Mary Jane) Oliveira of Bonita Springs, FL; her brother, Manuel (Kathy) Oliveira of Meriden, Ct; two cherished grandchildren, Kerri (Nathan) Whitten and Maj. Michael Oliveira, U.S. Army; and two treasured great grandchildren, Jackson and Asher. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel M. Oliveira in 2014.

Visitation for family and friends will take place Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail South, Bonita Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 28300 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs. Entombment will follow the service at Naples Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hope Hospice, www. hopehospice.org. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home – Family Owned Since 1978.
